  • Lead the design and development of the New Balance footwear collaboration, working closely with their design team

  • Create a collection for Women, Kids, and Baby that merges both brands’ aesthetics and values

  • Deliver a final range that represents the essence of both brands and appeals to both customer bases

  • Immerse in New Balance’s classic styles and design principles to guide the creative direction

  • Curate Cath Kidston archive prints and develop a vibrant spring–summer colour palette for soles, uppers, and toes

  • Integrate heritage prints with modern performance footwear, blending tradition and innovation throughout the designs

OUTCOME

  • Launched a globally distributed collection for Women, Kids, and Baby that aligned brand aesthetics and drove strong commercial performance.

  • Collection contributed to New Balance’s growth strategy, launching alongside high-profile partnerships .

New Balance x Cath Kidston Collaboration: FIRST COLLECTION

In the first collaborative project with New Balance, I chose a diverse range of prints, which required recoloring to create a cohesive collection. This included various styles and extended to both women's and kids' footwear. I curated and transformed the prints, ensuring that each design complemented the others, resulting in a unified collection. Through color selection and thoughtful recoloring, I achieved a seamless integration of patterns across multiple shoe styles.
