BRIEF
After getting sober in early 2022, I found that most resources felt overly serious, male-focused, or clinical in tone and style. I wanted to bring something different — fun, bright, and inclusive. Combining my design skills with uplifting sobriety messages, I started an Instagram account that grew into a full product line and online store, helping others feel seen and supported in their sober journey.
ACTION
I built the brand from the ground up — naming it, designing the logo, and developing bold, nostalgic graphics . Inspired by the 70s and 90s, I created a strong visual identity across social media and products. Through ongoing market research, I refined the range to focus on bestsellers like mugs and cards, adapting to customer feedback and sourcing high-quality, affordable suppliers.
OUTCOME
Sober the Rainbow became a successful small business, making daily sales in a highly competitive Etsy marketplace. The bright, design-led approach resonated with a niche audience, resulting in repeat customers and glowing reviews. The brand’s visibility and consistent performance reflect both its creative strength and commercial viability in an oversaturated space.
